The play I was in.
Finding a roommate.
Then losing a roommate.
Then getting an apartment on my own.
Getting my roommate back and possibly a house.
Then both of those going away.
And I'm moving this weekend.
I started babysitting a six year old every afternoon.
There is also the normal crazy that happens all through life. I also watched all of season 3 of The Vampire Diaries this month. It's been intense, let me tell you. When this whole apartment switch is done I'm taking a nap.
In the meantime, here is the music that has been getting me through September.
"Memories" by Within Temptation. Anyone else know this metal band from the Netherlands? Love them.
"Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables. Along with the rest of the world (particularly us musical theatre geeks) I am SO EXCITED for the Les Mis movie!!!!!
"Between the Raindrops" by Lifehouse feat. Natasha Bedingfield. I am SO HAPPY that Lifehouse has a new single! One of my all time favorite bands I can't stop listening to this song.
"Do You Love Me Like You Used To" by Best Coast. I recently got a subscription to Relevant Magazine and they give a playlist every quarter. This was on the one for fall - and I love it!
"The NaNoWriMo Song" by All Caps. Yup... I'm already psyching myself out for November. Do you know what your novel is going to be yet this year? I do. ;)
"Shake it Out" by Florence and the Machine. This song was on How I Met Your Mother (I kinda watched this past season within 2 days...) and this song is one I love to jam out to.
"Crazy/You Drive Me Crazy" Mash-up/Cover by the Glee Cast. Not gonna lie... I kinda love what they did with this.
"Never Let Me Go" OK... another Florence and the Machine song. And yes - I listed it because I heard it on The Vampire Diaries. I don't know what's up with me and Florence + the Machine and TV shows. But it doesn't make the music any less awesome.
And.... UGH I WANT SEASON FOUR TO BE HERE! I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONS ABOUT THESE STUPID VAMPIRES!
"Gone" by NSYNC. One night backstage before a performance one of the cast members played this on his phone. Totally made my night.
"Game of Thrones Cover" by Lindsay Sterling. Pretty much the most awesome violin player EVER. I wish I was as cool as this chick.
What are you all listening to lately? I need some new music to jam out to. Tell me your recommendations!
