Then someone takes a picture of me and I look at it and I'm appalled at how much different I look in a photo than I do in my mirror. Seriously it's just not fair.
However, I am getting used to pictures of myself. Blogging is partially to blame. Everyone is always like "You need more pictures of yourself on your blog!" And then there's Instagram where you basically HAVE to have selfies all over the place. Then there's Snap Chat which is even worse than Instagram with selfies. So... I'm getting used to being ridiculous and taking pictures of myself and coming to terms with how I look in them.
When friends try to snap a candid picture of me though I still freeze then cover my face. If you're going to be candid- you need to be more sneaky about it!
The times I try to take pictures of myself there are usually dozens taken because I'm always self conscious and all "NO! That one is awful!" If you were to scroll through my phone and see all of the pictures I have of myself you'd probably think I'm really self centered. I'm not. I'm far too picky about my selfies then get lazy and don't delete the bad ones.
So, when I finally find a picture of myself I like, I tend to overuse it on everything.
This is one of my new favorites. It's on my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, probably been on this blog a few times...
Is everyone as ridiculous about photos as I am?
